Community Rules
Emotion Detective is built to be enjoyed by a wide audience. Anything that becomes public — a case report, a badge name, generated evidence, a shared case file — has to stay family-safe. Play as a guest or as a signed-in Detective; the same rules apply.
Not allowed in public content
- Strong profanity or crude language, including disguised spellings. Mild exclamations such as “damn” are fine.
- Sexual, explicit or suggestive material of any kind.
- Slurs, hate speech, harassment, bullying or targeted abuse.
- Threats, incitement, self-harm content or graphic violence and gore.
- Real personal information — emails, phone numbers, addresses.
- Illegal content or anything sexualising minors, ever.
How it is enforced
- Reports are screened before any evidence is generated. Blocked text is refused, not masked, and you keep your words so you can edit and file again.
- Generated evidence passes provider safety systems plus our own check before it can be shown publicly or shared.
- Any detective can report a public case file. Signed-in detectives can also block a detective, which hides that detective's public content from them and removes them from their Friends roster.
- Reported content is reviewed by the show's owner, who can hide offending case files and take action on the account behind them. Reports are private; the reporter is never named publicly.
